New

  • Linking logbook entries and reservations
If enabled in the new “Logbook” settings tab, apron:pilot links logbook entries and reservations automatically. Administrators and power users manage missing entries on a separate page, link entries manually and decide which reservations need no entry.
  • Warning about missing logbook entries
If enabled, pilots with missing logbook entries are warned on the dashboard, calendar, “My Reservations”, logbook and profile, and the affected reservations are marked red.
  • From the reservation to the logbook entry
Once one of your reservations has started, a link on the dashboard, under “My Reservations” and in the reservation details opens the logbook entry with prefilled fields.
  • Past reservations
“My Reservations” also shows past reservations with their status and logbook entry, filterable by date, aircraft and missing entries. The page also loads faster.
  • Custom flight types and custom fields
Administrators create their own flight types and custom fields, optionally mandatory, in the new “Operational” settings tab, for reservations, logbook entries or both.
  • Custom aircraft classes
Aircraft classes are also managed under “Operational”; the previous classes have been taken over.
  • Time input of your choice
Times in the calendar and logbook can be entered with buttons or as text, and each user sets the default in the profile.
  • Pinning NOTAM
Administrators and power users pin important NOTAM, which then also appear at the top of the dashboard. An icon is no longer required.
  • Fuel type SUPER
The fuel type SUPER, used for example in ROTAX engines, is available for aircraft and refunds.
  • Files for users
Administrators upload files in the user details, such as licences or club documents.

Improved

  • “Luftfahrzeug” instead of “Flugzeug”
The German version consistently uses “Luftfahrzeug” (aircraft) instead of “Flugzeug”, which also suits gyrocopters and helicopters.
  • Minor design changes
The short notifications in the top right corner and the defect management views have a refreshed design.
  • Waiting list for changed reservations
If a reservation is shortened or moved to another day, pilots on the waiting list receive an e-mail. If it is deleted or moved out of the slot, the waiting list is cleared.
  • Filters on small screens
On small screens, the filters in the calendar and logbook only show the registrations, and the buttons have been adapted.
  • Date of flight no longer prefilled
The date of flight is no longer prefilled for new logbook entries so that it is chosen deliberately. A button sets it to today.
  • More detailed logbook export
The export splits pilots, counter values and fuel into separate columns and preformats date and times.
  • Two decimals for the additional counter
In decimal mode, the additional counter allows two decimals.
  • New file management
Files for aircraft, users and NOTAM can be uploaded in batches by drag and drop, given their own description and sorted by name or date.

Fixed

  • INVOICING Resending invoices
Resending invoices no longer causes an error.
  • Link to upcoming reservations
The link in “My upcoming reservations” reliably opens the calendar on the right date.
  • Reservation conflicts with another time zone
With a time zone other than UTC, no false conflicts are reported for past reservations any more.
  • Hour and minute buttons on smartphones
On small screens, the hour and minute buttons in the calendar and logbook no longer overlap.
  • Entering start values in the logbook
Pilots can enter the start values for Hobbs and total time in service themselves again if a previous flight is missing.
  • Special characters at the start of the last name
Last names starting with a special character such as Č or Š no longer lead to faulty user records.
