Booking requests and check flights
With Premium, rental customers don’t just book away: they send requests, which you review with remarks, flight type and estimated flight time before approving them. apron:pilot checks the ratings along the way. Also with an affiliated flight school
Many aircraft rental operators also train pilots. Booking, ratings and the logbook already run in apron:pilot today, and the training module for syllabi, student files and courses follows in 2027. That way you run rental and training in one place. Developed in Graz, Austria.
How much does apron:pilot cost for an aircraft rental operation?
To get started, there is the free-forever Free version. Depending on the number of your aircraft and rental customers, you choose one of three Premium plans, and invoicing is available as an add-on. You will find all prices and differences on the pricing page.
How do our rental customers get into the system?
You create them as users or invite them, and they count towards your plan’s users. With Premium, you import many at once from a spreadsheet.
Can we check type briefings and currency?
Yes. You create ratings such as a type briefing, medical or internal check flight yourself and assign them to pilots and aircraft. If one is missing or expired, no booking is possible. With Premium, the internal check flight is renewed automatically with every flight.
Do our customers see other customers’ data?
Not with AnonyMode (Premium): regular users see limited or no personal data in the dashboard, calendar and logbook, and the member list can be turned off. Administrators and power users keep full access.
Can we bill prepayments and deposits?
Yes, with invoicing: prepayments as credits, also with a reduced rate for prepaid flight hours, and a deposit as a custom invoice item.
Does apron:pilot create invoices with VAT?
Yes, on the Business plan of invoicing: tax invoices with net and gross amounts, your own number format and payment reminders. From Advanced, you store a separate billing address per user, for example for company customers.
Where is our data stored?
On servers in the EU. Personal data is encrypted, and backups run daily.
